It was built in 1907, and is a two-story, rectangular, Classical Revival-style building sheathed in a smooth ashlar veneer above a rusticated first floor. It features tetrastyle Corinthian order porticoes at each of the four entrances and a three-stage cupola atop the flat roof. Courthouse offices moved to a new building in 1974, and the old courthouse houses offices, and public meeting hall.
